Hello!
Everybody is very different in their response to this type of medication. I started at 150mg because I have a very high tolerance for drugs but began seeing some improvements within just a couple of weeks. Eventually I had to increase my dosage for the maximum full effects.
The standard maintenance dose is 75-150mg for many people and they feel some improvement... even if minor... within the first few weeks.

Hey Cat! I’m in my 6th week of Effexor & thus far, I’ve felt nix. Nothing other than the adverse side effects. Is it possible that it may continue like this for the next days/weeks before I feel ANYTHING?

I'd think you should be feeling something positive by now even if it's just a little... like starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I forget, what dose are you taking and have you had any increases? Have you talked to your doctor about your lack of progress?
