I just got put on Tri-Linyah today, for ovarian cysts and I haven't started them yet, I am curious if it can make you gain weight, cause increase of appetite or water retention? I have a huge issue with my weight and I don't want it to get out of control again. Has anyone else experienced weight gain while on this birth control?
Will Tri-Linyah BC make you gain weight? Any other side effects?

Weight gain from birth control pills is not as common as it once was. Many years ago the pill contained higher levels of estrogen which may have caused weight gain but with the low dose birth control pills in use today it is less of a problem. However weight gain still remains an issue for many. Birth control pills may cause slight fluid retention, but that effect is usually temporary.
