Sulindac - is this drug used for pain like vicodin at night when going to bed?

I use vicodin or vicoibprofen at night for pain and asked my doctor about sulindac. He was explaining it is used for arthuritis. Will it work the same as my vicodin, to help the pain and sleep?

What effects dose sulindac have on sleep if any?

After taking med. I can't stay awake for more then an hour. I take a nap. Note: on med for only 3 days.

Does Lisinopril, Asacol or Sulindac contain any gluten?

I am asking due to a celiac disease. It is important that we know if there is a presence of gluten. Our pharmacy doesn't seem to know or maybe they don't have the time/desire to find out!.

Is there a substitute for Sulindac? My Dr. wants me off of it and Tylenol doesn't work very well

I have had plantar faschitis since may of '08 and have been prescribed ibuprofen, sulindac?

and meloxican and to my dismay i have become immune to their effects. my doctor wont prescribe anything else. is there anything better?
