Atorvastatin - When ii the best time of day to take thisi drug?

Is taking hydrochlorothiazide and Lisinopril good or bad for kidneys?

I have stage 3 kidney failure due to years of untreated high blood pressure and over use of ibuprophen. I take atenolol, lisinopril, hydrochlorothiazide, amlodipine, lipitor and synthroid. I want to know if hydrochlorothiazide, lisinopril and lipitor are good or bad for kidney function?

Once I lower my cholesterol with Lipitor, is it possible to keep it down with diet alone?

If my total and LDL cholesterol come down quickly with Lipitor, is it possible or advisable to keep it down with diet/exercise alone without continuing the drug? If my cholesterol had come down quickly to the desired level, should the dosage at least be reduced?
