... pain started in my left hip went all the way down to my left heel. My heel felt like a railroad tie was being pounded into it. The leggings they place on your lower extremities were so tight on the left ankle. It literally was cutting off the circulation. The nurse had great difficulty getting the left one off. She ordered a pain pill, then a pain shot, and I used the demoral pump. None of this alleviated the pain. My ortho surgeon told me he had never heard of this and thought it was surgery rebound pain. The same thing happened with my upper back surgery. Now that I know what this is can anyone tell me the next step?
