I was just recently diagnosed with having fibromyalgia and my rheumatologist first prescribed Cymbalta but it made my heart race really fast. He took me off that and now wants me to try Pregabalin, which I'm hoping this medication doesn't cause the same side effect.
Is pregabalin safe to use for fibromyalgia and anxiety?

Having been on Cymbalta and currently taking Pregabalin I hope to be able to answer your question. For me no I had no CV issues at all. Stopping Cymbalta was difficult for me, personally I would place it even with Tramadol with difficulty for stopping. Pregabalin has really helped with my RLS , anxiety and pain.
