I take Prozac (20mg) and Abilfy (5mg) daily. I have maintained well on them for over 8 years, now i am very aggitated and irritated at everyone and everything. Generally not happy and get rage like when driving... is there another medication that might work well for me, or simply an increased dose?
Is Abilify the only anger, irritability, and agitation medication?

Hey Angry,
You may benefit from increasing the dose of the Abilify as you are on a low dose. There are other medications to try for these symptoms if increasing the Abilify doesn't work. Medicines such as Depakote or Seroquel may help. Best to discuss these options with the doctor before this gets out of hand. Good luck!!

i wouldn't change anything yet, but would try adding either geodon or risperdal. only if it's major, major agitation would i try seroquel or zyprexa, asenapine or invega--in that order. you may just be happy on 20-40mgs of geodon 2-3x/day. i've been on most medications and this is what has worked well for me. also it sounds like you might want to either up or change the prozac. sometimes prozac can take that turn and make you angry or angrier. if wanting to try changing... i'd say try effexor or zoloft.
