I took senokot max strength at 4.30pm as I couldnt wait till the morning, as I was in so much pain!?

Dear Gina... it is hard to answer your question as you did not give the reason why u r so constipated. I think it should be fine to take another synakot as it is fairly mild. Constipation can be a sign of more serious conditions. I am not suggesting that you have anything serious for I do not know this at all. If your constipation persists I would definitely make an appointment with your doctor to evaluate why u r so constipated. I truly hope you feel better soon and that you rest well. All my very best. thank you for getting back to me! I dont actually know why it started but it lasted for 7 days! the only thing i can think of is i used to suffer from anorexic nervosa/bulimia nervosa i had a bit of both i would starve till 10pm and have a sandwhich n purge or starve and have alot junk and purge alo, tho i never used laxatives, as i was scared to use them i have been "okay" for 6 months so their may be no link. May i ask if you know if the senna is addictive as iv read they can help in weight loss i know i shouldnt but can not sleep just wanna munch the pack and see if it helps shed weight the constipation has given me but i believe these senna tablets take so long i would have already taken in the calories??

Dear Gina... idk if the senna is addictive... not in the conventional way. I think, yes, if you are obsessed with losing weight, etc.
Your constipation COULD be partially due to your anorexia days, etc... not used to have any food moving through. Are you getting enough food with fiber in your diet??? Are you eating enough??? Try some fiber. Apple has lots of fiber... remember the saying... "an apple a day keeps the doctor away!!"
I know if I am treading on thin ice here but I must ask you if you are going back to your problem with anorexia/bulemia? I certainly hope not.
6 months is not very much. Have you had much counseling??
I certainly don't want to be nosey but I do care.
If you are slipping back please confide in someone and get some help.
Don't munch up the senna... ok... that will not make you heavy. But it's not about that... it's perception, isn't it???
Listen, eat an apple or two... that should help. If not, please go and see your doc. Constipation for too long, as you know, is not good and can be something more serious, like a blockage or something like that.
