Hydrocodone - Does Hydrocodon / Acetaminophen have codeine in it?

No it does not have codeine in it but it is a derivative of codeine.
Hydrocodone is a synthetic derivative of codeine. I am severely allergic to codeine so I get prescribed hydrocodone, instead.
That is why I asked. I'm severely allergic to cosine as well. Just wanted to check. Thank you.
Hydrocodone has hydrocodone in it. If it had codeine in it it would say so in the name.
fyi many drugs contain codeine that do not have it in the name.
