Hello xy2222. Fluvoxamine being a SSRI drug will take 4 weeks to reach its theraputic level. The side effects might be felt shortly after beginning the drug and they ease up more often than not the longer you remain on the drug. Best of wishes to you, pledge

Most anti depressants take 4-6 weeks for it to reach peak effect. You may start feeling better before that.
