I take Zofran for nausea because of migraines.
Is famotidine the same as Zofran?

No, not really. Famotidine is a GI drug, yet probably not the best Rx for treating GERD. Zofran is more for nausea caused by migraines, it can be used for preparing the colonoscopy on top of the Prep kit. But people complain about its terrible taste.
