I tested positive for K2 on a drug screen and I have never smoked Spice. Does anyone know of anything that could have caused the false reading?

I just got a false positive and I've never smoked this crap either. If anybody still gets responses from this please help me out. Are there any other things that can cause a false positive for synthetic? Please any answer to help greatly thank you so much

It is 100% the lamictal I had a false positive for k2 in 2018 and had to contact my primary to prove it google it again you will find plenty 411 from reliable sources I also was able to help 5 different people get their probation violations dropped two of which whom had been incarcerated from it

I also take gabapentin and had a false positive for K2. I sent it off for confirmation, hopefully things come back good. thanks for your question, it relieved a lot of stress seeing other people with the same issue.

I just had a false positive for synthetic cannabanoid myself. I take gabapentin, ibuprofen, Benadryl, melatonin, lamictal and I just started dyclofenec to replace the ibuprofen. I smoke cheap menthol cigarettes and eat cheap food. I expect it's one of these or a combination of them. Love to hear any similarities.

I just had a false positive also for that drug "spice/K2" and been researching it 24/7 since yesterday when I got it and saw your comment and I am also on 3 of the prescriptions you say you're on also, the lamictal, ibuprofen and gabapentin. If you have found anything else about this please contact me I'm very worried about this especially with my seizures and I've never even touched or tried that spice stuff or anything like it. Thank you.

I just had a false positive on a drug screen for k2 and I also take Gabapentin and Lamictal. I also take Ibuprofen and or Naproxen ocassionally. From reading the comments it sounds like the combo of the Gabapentin and Lamictal might be the culprit. I would love to hear from a lab technician which of these or what combination of drugs could cause a false positive. Please if anyone knows anything post something! For some of us who are honest about what medicines we have to take regularly and have to take a tox screen occasionally- It could very well cost us either a job or even our freedom. POST a comment.
