Someone told me Megace takes 2-4 weeks before it works. Is this true?
I've been taking it for three weeks and my appetite has not improved.
Does it take effect the first day you take Megace?

No, it will not take effect after the first dose.
Everyone responds differently. In some patients improvement can be seen in a few weeks and in others it may take a few months. It is important to take Megace for as long as directed by your healthcare provider. All the best.

Yes I took this medicine n I gain 15 within 10 days.but my sex went down the drain no desire and no semen comes out and that was just to much for me.but I couldn't believe how much I was eating it did the job but side effect I just couldn't deal with.and yes I notice after 3 days I was eating out of control but again different body and people.
