Someone told me Megace takes 2-4 weeks before it works. Is this true?
I've been taking it for three weeks and my appetite has not improved.

No, it will not take effect after the first dose.
Everyone responds differently. In some patients improvement can be seen in a few weeks and in others it may take a few months. It is important to take Megace for as long as directed by your healthcare provider. All the best.
