In other words does taking Avastin prevent the body's natural cancer-fighting capacity?
I have recurrent, platinum-resistant stage IV Ovarian cancer and am terrified of what I'm reading about Avastin. I'm afraid of all the side effects and also fear that my body will stop fighting the cancer on its own. Thank you for your help.
I am considering alternative therapies such as stem cell, and others. Will Avastin work in conjunction with other therapies?
Does Avastin prevent the growth of healthy cells and/or T-cells that fight cancer?
