Am diabetic type 2 and need to gain weight will this cyproheptadine help ?

Cypriheptadine is usually mainly used to treat loss of appetite caused by medications or depression. If you don’t have a recent problem thats causing loss of appetite it won’t be that helpful. It is mainly used to restore appetite not increase it.
