Can Meclizine be used for prolonged periods and if so how long?

Meclizine is used for the management of nausea and vomiting, and dizziness associated with motion sickness.
It may be used long term for conditions such as Meniere's disease (a balance disorder) under the guidance of a doctor.

It is not intended to be used for prolonged periods unless under doctors supervision.
