Hi lolabug,
I looked up Bentyl right here on drugs.com. It is a non-narcotic anti-spasmodic. It may help with muscle cramping. It is prescribed frequently for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Do you find it helps with cramping associated with menstruation? If not, you might want to try Ibuprofen, after eating a full meal, as it can irritate ones tummy.
Soma works well on cramps. You might want to talk to your doc about it, yet it can be addictive.
Best wishes lolabug!!

Hey there!
I take Bentyl for stomach cramps for IBS. I loved it until I had an allergic reaction. It relaxes your muscle well, but I will warn you now I hallucinated on it! I was willing to tolerate it with as much help as it gave me, but then I developed hives. I didnt develop any allergic reactions until almost 3 weeks after I stated taking it. So to answer your question, yes it would help. But be aware of your body and watch for side effects! Good luck!
