brittbrit...I've been on suboxone for a few months and they make me puke my face breaks out in little circle hives, i get migrains and i dont eat! ever! but my doc just tells me to suck a lime... im really tring to stay away from pain pills, what can i do, someone please give me sum advice!!!

Talk to your pharmacist and ask if those seem to be allergy symptoms or serious side effects. It also might be possible for you to switch to subutex, and that doesn't have the naloxone in it. It could be the naloxone you are allergic to and if that is the case, you should still be able to take subutex. You need to ask your sub doc to at least try switching you to rule that out. I wish you had listed how much subs you were on. If you are on more than 16 mgs, you could be reacting to having too much in your system.You can hit comment and list details, it sure would help us.

If you are on the films as opposed to the tablets, this could also be the reason you are feeling ill and breaking out, the films don't agree with all patients.
im on the tablets, i take 2 a day. well supposed to but does horrible damage to my tongue... I went to the emergency room and everything the night before my doctor appointment and they said i have stomatitis, which acidy and lemon and lime stuff causes my tongue to react that way, so i go to the doctor and the nurse tells me i need to be switched... then my doc comes in and says welll maybe we should just try going to one a day, i havnt been goin there but for like 5months. hes dropping me too quick and i cannot take suboxone!
That does sound like allergy, wonder if you could do the generic subutex and do a really low dose, I am not sure if it has the lemon lime acid taste. You might check around to see, it is true that most side effects on subs are greatly diminished when someone drops the dose down. I will keep you in my Prayers.
the subutex has nothing in it that im allergic to, it doesnt have naloxin in it so i go wednesday and god i hope he really listens to me, bc i wud rather wing off of sumthing that im not allergic to n sick off of, than pretty much feeling like im going thru withdrawls!! wat cud i say to him tho?
