If you're allergic to sulfa would taking a pill that has sulfate in it affect me?

VeeDNL; No problems sulfate is a salt and on or in many pills and has nothing to do with Sulfa Medication. Always make sure you tell any type doctor you are allergic to sulfa. and your Pharmacist so it is on your record but you have nothing to worry about.
