Our dog weighs about 80lbs. She has cancer and the vet has prescribed 150mg of tramadol every 8-12 hrs. We usually give it to her every morning at 10, and every night at 9.
Today, she got her morning dose at 10. A family member gave her a second dose at about 7 that I was not aware of. I just gave her a dose at 10:30 tonight, which is much shorter than the 8-12 hours recommended.
Will she be okay?
Hello! Depending on your dog's age and physical condition she most likely will be okay but I would wake her periodically to be sure that she is responsive. If you have trouble waking her you'll need to contact your veterinarian or an animal emergency clinic for professional advice or possible treatment.

She will be fine but may nap more. Just give her the regular dose back on schedule and don’t skip one. I hope this helps.
