Why do I have to avoid caffeine when taking Lamisil? I drink a lot of coffee & energy drinks?

Lamisil slightly reduces the ability of your body to clear caffeine from your system. Clinically this is probably insignificant. It wouldn't hurt though to try and cut back on your caffeine intake.
