Penlac Nail Lacquer (ciclopirox) "Been using the cream form ciclopirox for two weeks. My nails are less painful and I have noticed softer skin in the nail because I have keratosis between nail and nail bed. Hopefully in six months my nails will be healthy again."

Penlac (ciclopirox) "I've been fighting this for a year with little improvement. I was not following directions correctly. I called a dermatologist about it. She told me to wash my hands everyday, apply the gel everyday for a week, clean it off with alcohol then thin the nails with a file or sandpaper, then soak them in half water and half cider vinegar for 20-30 minutes, wash your hands again to get rid of the smell, and start over again. It's finally working. You have to diligent about it."

Penlac Nail Lacquer (ciclopirox) "Worked quickly and well. I learned by trial that trimming/filing away dead pieces of nail once a week when removing is key for it to work."
