Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

For Beef and Dairy Cattle, Sheep, Goats and Horses:

Can be applied by dust bag, shaker can, dusting glove and mechanical dust applicator. Do not use concurrently with insecticide ear tags containing zeta-cypermethrin or cypermethrin. Do not apply with power duster equipment. Do not enter or allow others to enter until dusts have settled.

Horn flies, lice, face flies, stable flies, ticks and keds (direct application):

Apply up to 2 oz. (6 tablespoons) of dust per animal evenly into the hair over the head, ears, neck, shoulders, back and tailhead. For spinose ear ticks, apply approximately 1/3 ounce (1 tablespoon) inside each ear. For stable flies, apply also to legs. Repeat as necessary but not more often than once in 3 days.

If On Skin Or Clothing

Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for treatment advice.

Note To Physician

This product contains a pyrethroid. Skin contact may be followed by transient tingling or numbness, usually of the face, but this subsides without treatment.

Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or doctor or going for treatment. You may also contact 1-800-255-3924 for emergency medical treatment information.

Precautionary Statements

Hazards to Humans (and Domestic Animals)

Y-Tex PYthon Livestock Insecticide Dust Caution

Harmful if absorbed through skin. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

Environmental Hazards:

This pesticide is extremely toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. To protect the environment, do not allow pesticide to enter or run off into storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters or surface waters. Applying this product in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area.

Personal Protective Equipment (ppe)

Applicators and other handlers must wear:

- Long-sleeved shirt and long pants;

- chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof material; and

- shoes and socks.

User Safety Requirements

- Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.

- Discard clothing and other absorbent materials that have been heavily contaminated with the product’s concentrate. Do not reuse them.

User Safety Recommendations

- User should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.

- User should remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

- Users should remove PPE immediately after handling this product. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.

Storage And Disposal

Do not contaminate feed or foodstuffs by storage or disposal.

Pesticide Storage

Store in cool, dry place.

Pesticide Disposal

Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.

Container Disposal

If empty: Non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency or 1-800-CLEANUP for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
