General Recommendations
Any change to this schedule should be done with judgement, according to calf’s size and stool’s consistency.
Clean ALL feeding utensils and equipment after each feeding.
During extreme conditions (cold or wind), offer an extra feeding of milk replacer per day.
Starter Ration, Weaning And Water
Introduce a quality Grain Veal starter or a 2 to 1 corn/grain fed calf supplement on the second day. Offer small quantities twice a day.
When the calf is consuming a minimum of 800g (2lbs) of starter ration per day for more than 3 consecutive days, the weaning process can be initiated. Feed only once per day for the last 3-4 days before weaning. Consult your local feed dealer for feed recommendations.
Fresh, clean water should be available at all times.
Note: Store this product in a cool dry location, protected from the sun. To maintain freshness, keep partially used bag closed tightly after opening and store in a clean, closed, plastic container.
