MIXING TIPS

Please see the following table for specific mixing and feeding instructions for each animal. Using a standard measuring cup, mix the required amount of Electrolytes Plus powder into warm water and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved. A standard measuring cup holds approximately 6 ounces (170 grams) dry powder by weight, equal in volume to a standard 8 ounce cup.

For best results, do not mix Electrolytes Plus powder into milk or milk replacer. Feed the mixed Electrolytes Plus solution separately, in between normal milk feedings, to provide supplemental fluids and electrolytes. Continue feeding Electrolytes Plus solution for 2 to 3 days, depending on scours severity and degree of dehydration, or as directed by your veterinarian.

NOTE - Dehydration in baby animals can be very serious. If scours worsen or do not improve, animals may require intravenous fluid therapy, contact your veterinarian immediately.
