FIRST AID

If Swallowed:

● Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice or transport the patient to the nearest hospital.

● Do not give any liquid to the patient.

● Do not administer anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

● Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor.

If on Skin or on Clothing:

● Take off contaminated clothing.

● Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes.

● Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Contains petroleum distillates. May cause aspiration pneumonia hazard.

Have product container or label with you when calling a poison control center, doctor, or going in for treatment.

HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS

Prozap DY-Fly Dairy Aerosol Caution

Harmful if absorbed through skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Applicator and other handlers must wear the following:

● Long-sleeved shirt,

● Long pants,

● Shoes plus socks, and

● Chemical-resistant gloves (such as barrier laminate, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, or Viton).

User Safety Requirements

Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry. Discard clothing and other absorbent materials that have been drenched or heavily contaminated with this product’s concentrate. Do not reuse them.

User Safety Recommendations

Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.

Users should remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

Users should remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing them. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.

PHYSICAL OR CHEMICAL HAZARDS:

Combustible. Contents under pressure. Keep away from fire, sparks, and heated surfaces. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Exposure to temperatures above 130ºF (54.44°C) may cause bursting.

Do not spray on plastic, painted or varnished surfaces, or directly into electronic equipment such as radios, TVs, computers, etc.

Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

READ THE LABEL: Read the entire label and follow all use directions, use restrictions and precautions.

Hold container upright, nozzle directed away from you, and press actuator button and spray as directed.

USE RESTRICTIONS:

● Except when used on livestock, do not enter or allow others to enter treated areas until vapors, mists, and aerosols have dispersed and the areas have been thoroughly ventilated.

● Prior to space spray applications, cover or remove food.

● In hospitals or other medical facilities, remove patients prior to treatment. Ventilate treated areas for 2 hours prior to returning patients.

● When used in indoor food-handling and -processing facilities, do not make space spray applications when facility is in operation.

● Prior to space spray applications, cover food-processing surfaces or clean after treatment and before reuse. Do not apply more than once per day.

● When used in dairy barns or facilities: Close milk bulk tank lids to prevent contamination from spray and from dead or falling insects. Remove or cover milking utensils before application. Wash teats of animals before milking.

● Remove pets, birds (except in commercial poultry operations), and cover fish aquariums before spraying.

● For Indoor use only.

● Not for use in outdoor residential misting systems.

● Do not use in aircraft.

FOR USE IN HOME AND FOOD-PROCESSING AREAS:

For flies, mosquitoes, small flying moths (millers), Asian lady beetles*, and gnats:

Close all doors and windows. Point nozzle upward and direct the spray mist to all parts of the room, especially toward windows and other light sources which attract these insects. Fill the room with mist, then leave the treated areas. Keep the room closed for at least 15 minutes. Ventilate the room when treatment is completed.

For roaches, waterbugs, sowbugs, spiders and centipedes: Spray Prozap Dy-Fly Aerosol Insecticide thoroughly into insect hiding places such as cracks, crevices, moist areas, openings around pipes and sinks, under refrigerators, along baseboards, and in storage areas. Spray directly on insects where possible. Repeat as necessary.

For ants:

Spray ants’ trails, nests, and points of entry. Spray directly on ants where possible. Repeat no more than once per day.

FOR USE IN FOOD STORAGE SITES:

Prozap Dy-Fly Aerosol Insecticide can be used in warehouse bins and trucks, cargo ships, mills, bin hoppers, elevators, and conveying equipment as a clean-up prior to using them for storage. For control of almond moths, Indian meal moths, Angoumois grain moths, tobacco moths, rice weevils, grain mites, confused flour beetles, saw-toothed grain beetles, and roaches. Close rooms or warehouses and shut off ventilation equipment. For processed product areas of food manufacturing facilities, cover or remove any exposed food/feed. Cover any equipment that will be in direct contact with food/feed. Direct Prozap Dy-Fly Aerosol Insecticide mist to all parts of the room, especially into dark enclosures and around stored product containers where adult moths may be resting. Use a minimum treatment of 6 to 8 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. of space. Keep areas closed for a minimum of 30 minutes after each treatment. In mills and elevators, all grain infested accumulations should be removed from the bin hoppers. All storage areas and conveying equipment should be thoroughly cleaned by sweeping out the waste grain, cobwebs, and other debris from the walls and rafters, as well as on the floors and around door frames, paying special attention to material lodged in the cracks and crevices. All of the debris should be removed and burned to kill eggs and insects that might be present. Before processing begins, wash down all equipment, benches, shelving, etc., where exposed food/feed will be handled with an effective cleaning compound followed by a potable water rinse. Repeat treatment weekly or as infestation occurs.

FOR USE ON STORED PRODUCTS:

Prozap Dy-Fly Aerosol Insecticide can be used on rice, grain nuts, dried fruit, beans, almond nutmeat and shells, pistachios, dried prunes, dried apricots, raisins, figs, wheat, oats, barley, rye, peanuts, and tobacco held in storage for control of the accessible stages of almond moths, Angoumois grain moths, cadelle beetles, cigarette beetles, confused flour beetles, flat grain beetles, granary weevils, Indian meal moths, red flour beetles, rice weevils, rusty grain beetles, saw-toothed grain beetles, square-necked grain beetles, and tobacco moths. Treatment should be made while buildings are unoccupied. Buildings should be closed for at least 30 minutes after treatment, with all ventilation and UV light sources kept at a minimum during fogging. Prozap Dy-Fly Aerosol Insecticide does not penetrate exposed or packaged products. Infested products should be treated by other methods approved for this purpose. Use a minimum treatment of 6 to 8 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. of space. Direct aerosol mist to all parts of the room, especially into dark enclosures and around stored product containers where adult moths may be resting. Repeat treatment weekly or as infestation occurs.

TO TREAT ANIMALS

To protect cattle from attacks of stable flies, horse flies, deer flies, house flies, horn flies, mosquitoes, and gnats, spray Prozap Dy-Fly Aerosol Insecticide about 3 seconds on each side of the animal, being careful to spray back, withers, and forelegs thoroughly. To protect from face flies, spray the face and head, but do not spray into the animal’s eyes. Repeat treatment as necessary, but not more than once per day.

FOR USE IN ANIMAL QUARTERS AND MILK ROOMS

For rapid control of house flies, mosquitoes, gnats, wasps, and flying moths, close windows and doors and spray Prozap Dy-Fly Aerosol Insecticide at the rate of 1 second per 1,000 cu. ft. of space. For best results, keep areas closed for 10 minutes after spraying. Do not remain in treated areas and ventilate after treatment is completed.

FOR USE ON BEEF CATTLE AND PREMISES

For barns, close all windows and doors. Spray Prozap Dy-Fly Aerosol Insecticide at the rate of 1 to 2 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. Keep area closed for 15 minutes following application. If the area cannot be closed, double the dosage. For animal applications, thoroughly spray entire animal as it is being released into pasture. Do not spray directly toward animal’s face or eyes. Repeat application daily or as necessary, but not more than once per day.

FOR USE IN POULTRY AREAS

For poultry houses, close all windows and doors. Spray Prozap Dy-Fly Aerosol Insecticide at the rate of 1 to 2 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. Keep area closed for 15 minutes following application. If the area cannot be closed, double the dosage. Treat daily or as necessary, but not more than once per day.

FOR USE ON HOGS AND PREMISES

In hog houses, close all windows and doors. Apply Prozap Dy-Fly Aerosol Insecticide at the rate of 1 to 2 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. of space. Keep area closed for 15 minutes following application. If the area cannot be closed, double the dosage. For animal applications, direct spray over hogs’ backs, and spray for 1 to 2 seconds per hog. Do not spray directly toward animal’s face or eyes. Repeat application daily or as necessary, but not more than once per day

FOR USE IN HORSE BARNS AND STABLES

In horse and pony barns, close all windows and doors. Apply Prozap Dy-Fly Aerosol Insecticide at the rate of 1 to 2 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. of space. Keep area closed for 15 minutes following application. If the area cannot be closed, double the dosage. For animal applications, lightly mist over the backs of horses and ponies from a distance of at least 2 ft. Do not spray directly toward animal’s face or eyes. Repeat application daily or as necessary, but not more than once per day.

Storage And Disposal

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

PESTICIDE STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place away from heat or open flame.

PESTICIDE DISPOSAL AND CONTAINER HANDLING: Do not puncture or incinerate!

If Empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available.

If Partly Filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.
