Properties:

Carboxymethylglucose sulfate polymers (RGTA^®) are biopolymers, closely related to heparan sulfates in structure. Heparan sulfates provide an anchor point in the extracellular matrix for the physiological factors needed for tissue repair, and participate in the protection of the extracellular matrix needed for the multiplication of cells and restoration of the tissue.

In corneal lesions, heparan sulfates are destroyed by enzymes linked to inflammation. RGTA^® replaces the destroyed heparan sulphates, promoting corneal healing.

Improving the quality of the extracellular matrix helps reduce discomfort for the animal.

Species:

OPTIXCARE^® EYE EMS is suitable for use in cats, dogs, sport and race horses, and small mammals.

Instructions:

For ocular use. Use 1 drop per affected eye every 2 days. Daily use is not recommended. On the advice of your veterinarian, the frequency may be reduced. Wait 2-3 minutes before applying other eye drops. The duration of use may vary. If applicable, it is advised to conduct the fluorescein test 48 hours after the last application.

Your veterinarian may adapt the instructions for use. Follow their recommendations.

Storage conditions:

Store the product in its original packaging between 4°C and 25°C.

Discard the vial after application. The solution does not contain preservatives or colourants.
