Each Ml Contains

Lidocaine HCl 20 mg, Epinephrine HCl 0.01 mg with Methyl Paraben 0.1% and Sodium Bisulphite 0.1% as preservative in isotonic Sodium Chloride solution.

Lido-2 Indications

A local anesthetic, Lidocaine 2% injection is used to provide prompt and lasting local anesthesia during certain surgical procedures and is approximately twice as effective as procaine.

Dosage

May be used for epidural, nerve block or infiltration anesthesia of cattle, horses, dogs and cats.

DOSAGE DEPENDENT ON SIZE OF ANIMAL.

ADMINISTER SLOWLY.

Lido-2 Caution

Overdosage may result in adverse reactions. Barbiturates are antidotal. Spinal anesthesia in dogs may predispose them to shock. DO NOT USE Pentylene Tetrazole as an antidote.

DO NOT ADMINISTER BY THE INTRAVENOUS ROUTE.

Warning

Milk taken from treated animals within 96 hours after the latest treatment must not be used in food. Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 5 days after the latest treatment with this drug.

Storage

Store in a cool (10°-20°C) dark area. Do not freeze.
