Laxade Powder

Each pound contains:

Magnesium hydroxide

In a flavored base.

One pound contains magnesium hydroxide equivalent to 1 gallon milk of magnesia.

Laxade Powder Indications

A mild laxative and antacid for use in ruminant animals with simple indigestion.

Laxade Powder Dosage And Administration

Mature bovine, stir one (1) pound of LAXADE POWDER into one (1) gallon of water and mix thoroughly. Administer as a drench or via a stomach tube. For sheep, goats and calves administer one (1) pint to one (1) quart depending upon the size of the animals. Frequent or continued use should be avoided.

Precaution(s)

Do not store above 86°F (30°C).

Laxade Powder Caution(s)

For animal use only. Keep out of the reach of children.

Warning(s)

Milk that has been taken from animals during treatment and for 12 hours (1 milking) after the last treatment with this drug must not be used for food.
