EIMERIA ACERVULINA-MAXIMA-TENELLA VACCINE, Live Oocysts

Description

IMMUCOX® is designed for the purpose of delivering live oocysts to chickens to aid in the development of immunity against coccidiosis. When administered according to the directions IMMUCOX® can act as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis disease caused by Eimeria acervulina, E. maxima and E. tenella. An oral COCCIDIOSIS VACCINE of live oocysts of Eimeria species. Store at 2-8°C. DO NOT FREEZE. Contains potassium dichromate as a preservative. Inactivate unused product.

Precautions

Be sure that no anticoccidial (coccidiostat) is used in the feed. Even a low level of anticoccidial can reduce or negate the effectiveness of the vaccine. Broad spectrum antibiotics which possess anticoccidial activity (eg. Tetracyclines, sulfa drugs and nitrofurans) should not be used together with IMMUCOX® for the first 16 days after vaccination. Do not over dose or under dose. If birds are housed in confined space (e.g. brooding rings), they must be released from confinement by the sixth day post vaccination or the area must be at least doubled. Vaccinate only healthy birds.

Directions For Use

Follow the directions carefully. For 10,000 doses of IMMUCOX® Gel-Droplet.

Add 70g of gel-droplet diluent to 2.5L of cold distilled water. Mix well with a blender. No further agitation is required for use on the same day. Shake 10,000 doses of IMMUCOX® vaccine well, pour in and mix with a blender. Vaccinate at 1 day of age (hatch day) to 3 days old at a ratio of 25mL for every 100 birds, through a gel-droplet machine or device.

Immucox 3 Caution

The capacity of IMMUCOX® to aid in the development of immunity against coccidiosis in chickens depends upon many factors. These include, but are not limited to, conditions of storage and handling of the vaccine by the user, administration of the vaccine, the responsiveness of individual birds to the vaccine and whether the directions for use and precautionary measures are being followed carefully.

The capacity of the vaccine will be reduced or negated by freezing or high temperature and if the directions for use and precautionary measures are not followed as directed, excessive morbidity and mortality may occur. Consult a poultry veterinarian or a diagnostic laboratory for proper diagnosis. Inform the veterinarian or the diagnostic laboratory that the flock has been vaccinated with IMMUCOX®.

Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
