For Veterinary Use in Horses and Foals

Pala-Tech™ Equine BALT™ Respiratory Advantage Granules is a natural nutritional supplement to help horses handle respiratory issues and distress caused by environmental contaminants, plus optimize the horse’s respiratory efficiency. Show safe, however, check with your association to confirm.

Recommended Use: 1, 2 Based on your veterinarian’s recommendation, administer the correct number of scoops (30 grams/scoop) daily over the horse’s grain. All horses are unique and respond differently, so this dose can be increased or decreased as needed for best response. The following is suggested as the initial dosing based on the condition:

“Stable” cough, slight nasal discharge, and mild allergies:

Evidence of bleeding in the respiratory system, chronic problems such as mild to heavy nasal discharge, heaves or wheezing, stable cough, pronounced allergies:

Sustained high incidence of respiratory problems, especially evidence of bleeding, very frequent wheezing and coughing.

1-2 Scoops

(30-60 grams/day)

2-4 Scoops

(60-120 grams/day)

4-6 Scoops

(120-180 grams/day)

1 Dosing for respiratory abnormalities are not necessarily related to body weight. Breed and sinus cavities are influencing factors when considering the proper feeding level.

2 Frequency in horses is an elusive target dependent on what observable symptoms are being manifested. In some cases, waiting 6 hours between feeding is too long. The uniqueness of this product is its adaptability to various needs.

Administration: A 30-gram precision dosing scoop is enclosed in the container for accurate dosing. Measure out the prescribed dose and administer over the horse’s feed. Granules may be fed directly or mixed with feed to facilitate complete consumption. Formulated with a highly palatable sweet apple and molasses flavor base to enhance acceptance by the horse.
