Escherichia Coli Bacterin J-5 Strain

For veterinary use only

Enviracor® J-5 Bacterin is recommended for use in healthy dairy cattle as an aid in the reduction of shedding of E. coli in the milk due to mastitis. For effective mastitis control this product should be used in conjunction with acceptable good management practices.

Directions For Use

Shake well. Three doses are required. Administer each 5-mL dose subcutaneously, one hand-width cranial to the shoulder. Vaccinate cows or heifers at both 7 and 8 months of gestation followed by the third dose within two weeks postpartum.

Precautions

Store at 2°-8°C. Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. No milk discard is required. Do not vaccinate within 60 days before slaughter. Local swelling occasionally occurs and may persist at the injection site. Contains thimerosal as a preservative. Do not mix with other products. In case of human exposure contact a physician. In case of anaphylactoid reactions, epinephrine should be administered immediately.
