SALMONELLA TYPHIMURIUM BACTERIN-TOXOID

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy horses against endotoxin-mediated diseases caused by Salmonella typhimurium and Escherichia coli. This product was licensed prior to the requirement to establish a minimum age for use. The duration of immunity is unknown. ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE: Two doses are necessary for optimum immunization. Inject 1 ml intramuscularly. Inject 1 ml intramuscularly 2-3 weeks following the first dose. Shake well before each use and administer using normal aseptic technique. Historically, annual revaccination has been recommended for this product. The need for this booster has not been established. Contact your veterinarian or manufacturer for more information on revaccination frequency.

ENDOVAC-Equi with Immune Plus Caution

Store at 2°-8° C (35°-46° F). Do not Freeze. This product has not been tested in pregnant mares. Do not use within 21 days of slaughter. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not mix with other products. Transient local reactions may occur at the injection site. Resolution of the sign usually occurs in 3-5 days, but occasionally in 10 days or more. Lethargy, inappetence and stiffness may occur lasting up to 2-3 days. If an anaphylactic response occurs, administer epinephrine or its equivalent. In case of human exposure, contact a physician. Do not vaccinate a horse with a history of laminitis or following a recent episode of acute endotoxemia. Do not vaccinate horses recently administered progesterone or steroids. Do not vaccinate during active training periods. Horses should be given moderate exercise or turned on pasture following vaccination.
