Duramune Cv-k
This treatment applies to the following species:Canine Coronavirus Vaccine
Killed Virus
For vaccination of healthy dogs six weeks of age or older as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by canine coronavirus.
Dose
Dogs, inject one 1 mL subcutaneously or intramuscularly using aseptic technique. All dogs over 12 weeks of age should initially receive one dose of Duramune Cv-K and a second dose 2 to 3 weeks later. Annual revaccination with one dose is recommended.A recommended vaccination schedule should start at or about 6 weeks of age. The presence of maternal antibody is known to interfere with the development of active immunity. Puppies should be revaccinated every 2 to 3 weeks until they are at least 12 weeks of age.

For vaccines requiring reconstitution, remove label from both vials and affix both labels to the animal’s medical chart.

Duramune Cv-K Caution
DO NOT USE AS DILUENT FOR LIVE VACCINES. Store in the dark at 2° to 7°C (35° to 45°F). AVOID FREEZING. SHAKE WELL. Use entire contents when first opened (10 mL). In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine.Gentamicin, thimerosal and amphotericin B added as preservatives.
