Duo Indications

DUO teat dip is formulated to be used full strength as a post milking teat dip to aid in the prevention and control of mastitis by reducing new udder infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus agalactiae.

Directions

Immediately after each cow is milked, dip each teat in undiluted DUO and allow 30 to 60 seconds contact time. Allow to air dry. Do not wipe teats. At the end of each milking, discard remaining contents of cup. Washout, drain, and refill with fresh dip for next milking. Wash entire udder and teats thoroughly just prior to milking with Iodophor II udder wash solution. Use proper procedures for udder washing. Replace the solution if it becomes visibly dirty or loses colour. Use only as directed.

First Aid

Eyes

IMMEDIATELY FLUSH EYES WITH PLENTY OF COOL, RUNNING WATER. REMOVE CONTACT LENSES; THEN CONTINUE FLUSHING FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES, HOLDING EYELIDS APART.

Skin

FLUSH WITH WATER. WASH WITH SOAP AND WATER. CALL A PHYSICIAN IF IRRITATION DEVELOPS.

Inhalation

NOT A NORMAL ROUTE OF EXPOSURE. IF INHALATION OCCURS, MOVE VICTIM TO FRESH AIR. IF SYMPTOMS PERSIST, CALL A PHYSICIAN.

Internal

CALL A PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY. IF SWALLOWED, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. RINSE MOUTH, THEN IMMEDIATELY DRINK 1 OR 2 LARGE GLASSES OF WATER OR MILK. NEVER GIVE ANYTHING BY MOUTH TO AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.

Storage

KEEP FROM FREEZING. IF FROZEN, ALLOW TO REACH ROOM TEMPERATURE BEFORE USING. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING.
