PORCINE CIRCOVIRUS VACCINE, TYPE 2, KILLED BACULOVIRUS VECTOR, LAWSONIA INTRACELLULARIS-MYCOPLASMA HYOPNEUMONIAE BACTERIN

This product has been shown effective for the vaccination of healthy swine 3 weeks of age or older against disease caused by Porcine Circovirus Types 2a and 2d, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, and Lawsonia intracellularis. Duration of immunity for Porcine Circovirus Type 2d is at least 16 weeks, and for Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae is at least 10 weeks. Duration of immunity for ileitis due to Lawsonia intracellularis is at least 20 weeks. Duration of immunity for Porcine Circovirus Type 2a has not been established. Composition

This product contains a subunit vaccine based on Porcine Circovirus Type 2a.

DOSE: Shake well. Warm the vaccine to room temperature immediately prior to administration. Using aseptic technique, inject 2 mL intramuscularly (IM) into pigs at 3 weeks of age or older. For advice on revaccination frequency, consult your veterinarian.

CAUTIONS: Store in the dark at 2° to 8°C (35° to 46°F). Do not freeze. Do not mix with other products. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 60 days before slaughter. A significant number of pigs may experience transient swelling at the site of injection. The swelling should resolve without treatment in less than 29 days. Immediate systemic reactions have been observed in animals administered this product. Minimize pig handling and ensure proper ventilation prior to starting vaccination. If an allergic reaction occurs, treat with epinephrine. Caution should be used to avoid injecting your own fingers, hands, or other body parts. Accidental injection can cause serious local reactions. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
