For use in cattle as an aid in treating uncomplicated milk fever (parturient paresis).

Calcium Gluconate 23% Dosage And Administration

For intravenous administration only.

Cattle

250-500 mL

The dosage may be repeated at 8- to 12-hour intervals if required.

Presentation

Store at a controlled room temperature between 59°-86°F (15°-30°C).

Keep out of the reach of children.

For animal use only.

The solution should be warmed to room temperature and administered slowly. The entire contents should be used upon entering, as the product does not contain preservatives. Discard any unused portion. Do not use if the solution is cloudy or contains a precipitate.

Note: Monitor the animal's condition closely. Retreatment may be necessary. If there is not noticeable improvement within 24 hours following treatment, consult a veterinarian. Aseptic precautions should be observed such as using sterile needles and syringes.

Disinfect the site of injection.
