Blu-Gard Teat Dip Indications

Use as a post-milking teat dip on each teat as an aid in a complete cow-care program to help reduce the spread of organisms that may cause mastitis.

- Reduces new mastitis infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus.

Directions For Use

Immediately after each cow is milked, submerge each teat in undiluted BLU-GARD. Allow to air dry. Do not wipe teats. Always use fresh, full strength BLU-GARD. If product in dip cup becomes visibly dirty, discard contents, rinse cup and replenish with undiluted BLU-GARD. Wash entire udder and teats thoroughly just prior to milking with a suitable udder wash solution. Use proper procedures for udder washing.

Blu-Gard Teat Dip Caution

Consult your veterinarian if the cow's teats are sore, or chapped, before starting or using BLU-GARD.

WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. May cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes. Wear eye protection. Wash thoroughly after handling.

DO NOT CONTAMINATE FOOD.

FIRST AID:

EYE CONTACT: In care of contact, immediately flush eyes with cool running water. Remove contact lenses and continue flushing with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists.

SKIN CONTACT: Flush contaminated skin with plenty of water. Wash clothing before reuse.

INHALATION: If inhaled, removed to fresh air.

INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If irritation persists, get medical attention.

Storage

Keep from freezing. If frozen, thaw completely and shake well before use. Keep container tightly closed. Keep container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Store at temperatures between -10°C and 50°C.
