Multi-species Activated Charcoal Gel Contains Activated Hardwood Charcoal And Attapulgite Clay.

Suggested Use

This formulation supplies activated hardwood charcoal and attapulgite clay. May be used as an emergency first aid and/or adjunct to treatment for accidental poisoning in large and small animals from insecticides, organic chemicals, intestinal toxins and diarrhea.

Recommendations

Dogs & Cats

1-3cc per pound body weight.

Sheep & Goats

1-3cc per kg (2.2 lb.) body weight.

Adult Cattle & Horses

It is recommended to give one full tube (300cc). Repeat after 1 to 3 hours or as needed.

Directions

Place the tube in a dosing gun and remove the cap. Hold the head of the animal in a slightly elevated position and place the nozzle on the back of the tongue. Administer the recommended amount slowly, allowing the animal time to swallow. A stomach tube should be used in animals that are unable to swallow.

Warning

If conditions do not improve consult your veterinarian. Depending on the condition of the animal supportive therapy such as parental fluids and injectable antidotes should be used along with Activated Charcoal Gel for efficient recovery. May not be very effective in the treatment of heavy metal poisoning like lead, arsenic, mercury, etc.
