Antiseptic Fungicide

Helps reduce swelling. Tones up muscles. Acts as bracer and tightener. Treats minor cuts - abrasions and fungus infections. Horses can be worked during treatment.

General Conditioning

Used daily, Absorbine^® hastens recovery and helps prevent everyday injuries from becoming serious. Full strength or in a wash, it does not blister or remove hair. Horses can be worked during treatment.

Body Wash And Leg Brace

Leading trainers advise daily Absorbine^® wash as protection against lameness. To make, mix: 4 oz. Absorbine^®, 1-1/2 pints water and 1/2 pint vinegar.

How To Treat

Lameness And Swelling

Sponge with HOT water 10 minutes. Rub dry. Rub Absorbine^® in well. Repeat with Absorbine^® 3 or 4 times daily To bandage, saturate area with Absorbine^® Wash. Bandage over dry cotton. Leave two hours or overnight. Then rub in full strength Absorbine^®.

Strains And Pulled Muscles

After initial inflammation subsides massage in Absorbine^®.

Soreness And Stiffness (across Back, Loin, Shoulders)

Rub well with Absorbine^®. Cover with blanket wrung out in hot water and cover this with dry blanket. Let steam for one hour, followed with Absorbine^® 3 or 4 times daily.

Medicinal Ingredients

Menthol 1.25%, Chloroxylenol .5%, Thymol .25%, Potassium Iodide .0267%, Iodine .02% percolated and blended in our laboratory with essential oils and tinctures as aromatics in an acetone menstruum.
