Nalex AC Syrup
All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Nalex AC Syrup:
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Nalex AC Syrup:Constipation; diarrhea; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth, nose, or throat; excitability; headache; loss of appetite; nausea; thickening of mucus secretions; upset stomach; vomiting.
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); blurred vision, double vision, or other vision changes; confusion; difficulty urinating or inability to urinate; fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat; loss of coordination; mood or mental changes; nervousness; ringing in the ears; seizures; severe dizziness, lightheadedness, or headache; severe drowsiness; shallow breathing; tremor; trouble sleeping; uncontrolled muscle movements; unusual bruising or bleeding; unusual weakness or tiredness.

Nervous System side effects have included sedation, sleepiness, dizziness, disturbed coordination, fatigue, confusion, restlessness, excitation, nervousness, tremor, irritability, insomnia, euphoria, paresthesias, vertigo, tinnitus, acute labyrinthitis, hysteria, neuritis, and convulsions.
Respiratory
Respiratory side effects have included thickening of bronchial secretions, dryness of mouth, nose, and throat, nasal stuffiness, tightness of the chest and wheezing.
Gastrointestinal
Gastrointestinal side effects have included epigastric distress, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and constipation.
Genitourinary
Genitourinary side effects have included urinary frequency, difficult urination, urinary retention, and early menses.
Hematologic
Hematologic side effects have included hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, and agranulocytosis.
Cardiovascular
Cardiovascular side effects have included hypotension, headache, palpitations, tachycardia, and extra systoles.
Dermatologic
Dermatologic side effects have included urticaria, photosensitivity, and pruritus.
Hypersensitivity
Hypersensitivity side effects have included drug rash and anaphylactic shock.
Ocular
Ocular side effects have included blurred vision and diplopia.
General
General side effects have included excessive perspiration and chills.
