• Blistering, burning, crusting, dryness, or flaking of the skin where the medicine is applied
• itching, scaling, severe redness, soreness, or swelling of the skin where the medicine is applied

This drug was generally well tolerated. About 1% of patients reported skin-related side effects at the site of application. In controlled clinical trials, no patients withdrew from therapy due to side effects.^[Ref]
