Vardenafil Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Warnings

Overview
Vardenafil is not approved for use in women. If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Vardenafil while you are pregnant. It is not known if Vardenafil is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Vardenafil, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.
Vardenafil Pregnancy Warnings
Vardenafil has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. Animal data have failed to reveal evidence of teratogenicity or fetotoxicity even after doses that represented up to 100 times the maximum recommended human dose (on a mg/kg basis). There are no adequate or well-controlled data from human pregnancy. Vardenafil should only be given during pregnancy when need has been clearly established. There are no known indications for vardenafil in females.
Vardenafil Breastfeeding Warnings
There are no data on the excretion of vardenafil in human milk. There are no indications for the use of this drug in females.
