Pexidartinib may cause liver injury, and using it with other medications that can also affect the liver such as ethanol may increase the risk. You may experience reduced absorption of pexidartinib in the presence of food. Pexidartinib should be taken on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after food.
