Using tamsulosin together with vericiguat may have additive effects. These medications work by dilating the blood vessels and combining them may cause symptomatic low blood pressure with symptoms of fainting, chest pain., dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, flushing, and headache. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Applies to: tamsulosin
Food may affect the intestinal absorption of tamsulosin. You should take tamsulosin approximately one-half hour following the same meal each day to ensure steady absorption and blood levels of the drug.
vericiguat food
Applies to: Verquvo (vericiguat)
Food significantly enhances the absorption of vericiguat. You should take each dose of vericiguat at the same time each day with food. If you receive enteral nutrition (tube feeding), take vericiguat with your feeding. Taking it on an empty stomach may lead to inadequate blood levels and reduced effectiveness of the medication. Talk to your doctor if you have questions or have difficulty taking vericiguat with food. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
