Talk to your doctor before using roflumilast together with predniSONE. Combining these medications may have additive effects on the immune system, possibly increasing the risk of infections or immunologic disorders. You may not be able to use roflumilast if you have a serious infection, cancer, or an immune-based disorder such as HIV infection, multiple sclerosis, or lupus. If your doctor does prescribe these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment or increased monitoring by a healthcare professional to safely use both medications. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop signs and symptoms of infection such as fever, chills, diarrhea, sore throat, muscle aches, shortness of breath, blood in phlegm, weight loss, red or inflamed skin, body sores, and pain or burning during urination. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
