This report displays the potential drug interactions for the following 2 drugs:
- cyclobenzaprine
- letibotulinumtoxinA
Interactions between your drugs
cyclobenzaprine letibotulinumtoxinA
Applies to: cyclobenzaprine and letibotulinumtoxinA
Consumer information for this interaction is not currently available.
MONITOR: Excessive muscle weakness associated with the use of botulism toxin may be exaggerated by concomitant use of a skeletal muscle relaxant. Botulinum toxin inhibits the release of acetylcholine from peripheral cholinergic nerve endings and is a neuromuscular blocking agent, thus additive effects may occur with muscle relaxants.
MANAGEMENT: Patients should be advised that muscle weakness may be increased when botulinum toxin is used in combination with skeletal muscle relaxants.

Some people may also experience impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with cyclobenzaprine. Do not use more than the recommended dose of cyclobenzaprine, and avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medication affects you.
