Belzutifan may reduce the blood levels and effectiveness of ethinyl estradiol, which may make it less reliable as a form of birth control. Alternative or additional methods of birth control such as condoms should be used during treatment with belzutifan and for 1 week after stopping treatment to avoid unintended pregnancy. Talk to your gynecologist or other healthcare professional for help in selecting an effective method of birth control that is best for you. Men receiving belzutifan should also use a condom during the treatment period and for 1 week after stopping treatment.
