Medications for Short QT Syndrome

Short QT Syndrome is a condition affecting the electrical activity of the heart. In this syndrome when an electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) is used to measure the electrical cycles of the heart, the QT interval is consistently shorter. This increases the risk of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death.
