Cardiolite (sestamibi) for Diagnosis and Investigation "Two weeks after taking cardiolite in my nuclear stress test, my shortness of breath became worse and I became very weak. Since my nuclear stress test turned out to be normal, I thought it was my lungs. I ignored it until I became very very weak after a month and was rushed to the emergency. My hemoglobin count was 4 and I had to have blood transfusion. They did not see any slow bleeding in my body that must have caused that sudden loss of blood. This nuclear stress test with cardiolite was the only different factor that was done in one month that I loss so much blood. When I called my doctor's office about this weakness and shortness of breath, they said it should have happened right after the test and not 2 weeks after."

For Diagnosis and Investigation "After having sestamibi for a stress test, I had a very bad rash over 100% of my torso, rash on thighs, neck and head. Severe itching. I was red and red could ever be. It lasted almost one week. I should’ve have went to an ER but my husband was in hospital with a mini-stroke and my mother had fallen and broken her hip. I took Benadryl. The doctor office told me it was impossible to have had that reaction but I called the FDA and they assured me it was possible. So, I will tell you this was a very scary week for me. I’m not sure I will ever have another stress test."

Cardiolite (sestamibi) for Diagnosis and Investigation "I experience no side effects. To be honest, I was unaware of any side effects. I would recommend Cardiolite to anyone who needs it."
